1. Keep the forklift bearings and their surrounding environment clean. Even tiny dust that cannot be seen by the naked eye entering forklift bearings can increase the wear of various system bearings, or cause vibration and noise.
2. Installation precautions
When installing forklift bearings, strong stamping is not allowed, direct hammering of forklift bearings with hammers is not allowed, and pressure transmission through rolling elements is not allowed.
3. Use appropriate and accurate installation tools
Try to use specialized tools and avoid using fabrics and short fibers as much as possible.
4. Prevent rust on forklift bearings
When taking forklift bearings directly by hand, we recommend thoroughly washing away sweat from the hands and applying high-quality mineral oil before operation. It is especially important to pay attention to rust prevention during the rainy and summer seasons. However, under certain special operating conditions, forklift bearings can achieve a longer lifespan than traditional calculations, especially under light loads. These special operating conditions are when the rolling surfaces (tracks and rolling elements) are effectively separated and limited by a lubricating oil film to prevent surface damage caused by pollutants.
